Bridal Fair at the Cody

We had a booth at a bridal fair held at The Cody Hotel a week ago. The display featured three styles of wedding "cakes."


The Traditional Cake featured square 2nd and 4th layers with texturing.  The 1st and 3rd layers were round with scrollwork.  Black satin ribbon around the bottom of each layer and a fresh flower topper with some fresh rose accents completed the look.

The Elegant Cake was a cream puff tower formed with spun sugar and wrapped like a gift with ribbon.  The bottom was surrounded by chocolate dipped strawberries and some fresh flower buds.

The Modern Cake was a candy buffet featuring many kinds of candy in coordinating colors tiered at varying heights.  The different kinds of candy add dimension and texture.  Thanks to Sweet Tooth Candy Shop for providing the candy for this occasion.

 This pirate is not letting his treasure chest out of his sight.  Buttercream with lots of extra treasures.

 A double chocolate cheesecake is both delicious and elegant.

 Petit Fours decorated in white chocolate and tuxedo dipped strawberries add a special touch.

 Homemade pies are the All-American dessert.
